After graduating from the University of Edinburgh in 1994, Dr Evans undertook her oncology training in London, Wellington, New Zealand and Edinburgh before becoming a consultant clinical oncologist in 2005.
She specialises in the management of lung and upper gastrointestinal cancers delivering both radiotherapy and systemic therapies for patients in Lothian and Fife.
Aside from her clinical work, she has a keen interest in medical education and communication skills. Her roles include being educational supervisor for clinical oncology trainees in South East Scotland, college tutor for the Royal College of Radiologists and senior communication skills tutor within the EC4H programme.
