Careers in the Edinburgh Cancer Centre
The Edinburgh Cancer Centre is hosted by NHS Lothian, who provide a comprehensive range of primary, community-based and acute hospital services for the populations of Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian and West Lothian. NHS Lothian provides services for the second largest residential population in Scotland – circa 850,000 people. We employ approximately 24,000 staff.

Volunteering
Volunteers bring a wide range of skills, knowledge and life experiences to NHS Lothian which complement the skills, knowledge and experience of our staff team.
Currently volunteers are involved in supporting our work and positive health outcomes for patients through approximately 25 different roles including Ward Helper, Welcome Guides, Meaningful Activity Volunteers, Library and Book Service Volunteers and more.
